Dr. Jim Miller

Jim Miller, MD, is the current President of United States Masters Swimming and also serves as the President of the USA Swimming Sports Medicine Society. He has traveled as one of the national team physicians for USA Swimming as well as for the USOC. These trips have included the FINA World Championships in Perth and Fukuoka. He has received the Coach of the Year Award and the Ransom Arthur Award from USMS. Jim is boarded in Family Practice and Sports Medicine. He lectures and has published articles related to Sports Medicine. Topics include Asthma, Diabetes in the Athlete, Training in the Masters Athlete, Aging in the Masters Athlete, Rehabilitation as Treatment of the Swimmers Shoulder, Injuries of the Lower Extremity, Injuries of the Ankle, Injuries of the Pelvis, The Female Triad, among others.
