Dick Shoulberg

 

 

 Richard has been the first Aquatic and Head Coach of the Girls and Boys Swim Teams at Germantown Academy, in Fort Washington, PA, since 1969. Since 1980 the team finished in the top eight at Senior Nationals. Coach Shoulberg has coached many swimmers to the Olympics since 1980, including Dave Wharton and Dave Berkoff. In 1992 Richard put the most male swimmers on the US Olympic team. In 2001 he was the Head Women's Coach at the Goodwill Games. He was also the USA Olympic Advisory Coach two times, once in 1988 and again in 2000. Under Coach Shoulberg's leadership and training, two of his swimmers have set World Records and over eight swimmers have established American records.
