CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRIBUTIONS to the Profession and Sport are an important part of your professional life. These need not be "major" contributions. The ASCA seeks to INCLUDE, not exclude all possible coaches. Do you serve on any local committees? Do you write articles for any local swimming publications? For the ASCA? Do you send ASCA Letters to the Editor? Do you conduct a summer clinic or a learn to swim program? All of these will fulfill this criteria. WHAT DO YOU DO FOR SWIMMING OR COACHING outside of your time for your own team?

Full and Associate Members both receive 6 Magazines, 12 Newsletters and the Annual Journal of Swimming Research. Full members must agree to the Criteria for Full ASCA Membership and sign the code of ethics.  Associate memberships are for all not pursuing certification credentials.
