Biography:
Married with two sons, both adults.
Biology teacher at VHS North. Have been employed by the Vineland Board of Education
since 1965.
Born and raised in Vineland, NJ
College attended: Monmouth University, graduating with a BS in Biology Teaching in
1966.
Graduate work completed in the field of Biology
Coaching during the summer at Dolphin Swim Club in Vineland since 1963 to present.
Began the VHS Swim Program in 1973 to present except for 1992. Coached both boys
and girls until 1993. From 1993 to present coaching girls only. During this
time VHS Swimming has been recognized as one of the finest programs in the state.
The Team has received many awards for it's excellence both in the pool and out. The
team is known for its many unique traditions such as its color poster, weekly newsletter,
and fine Yearbook. The team has conducted yearly Community Service Projects which
have generated over $100,000.
The Program is well known for the discipline and community involvement required of its
athletes. Swimmers leave the program with a firm knowledge of stroke technique.

Teams have conducted numerous projects to benefit crippled children, children with
terminal illnesses, etc. The past three projects have generated over $90,000.
To be a member of the high school team each team member must participate in at least two
community service projects.
Outstanding Boys/Girls swim records: won 19 straight League Titles, 187 straight
conference wins spanning 19 years. Conference dual meet record 187-1.
Over 88 State Champions and 50 NISCA All Americans
Several short course meter record holders
Team members have received over $800,000 in scholarships
Nationally known High School Swim Team Yearbook, Newsletter, and Team Poster.

Over 50 Local and State Resolutions honoring coaching achievements and Team
accomplishments.
